Executed real swap: 0.80% platform fee under the current production configuration.
Other trading costs
Real trading can also experience network costs, price movement, route-specific costs and slippage. These are distinct from the MomentumSwitch platform fee and can change with market and network conditions.
Why backtests model friction
Momentum strategies can trade frequently, so research should not ignore transaction costs. MomentumSwitch's backtesting methodology explicitly models trading friction when comparing algorithm revisions.
