FAQ

MomentumSwitch Solana trading bot FAQ

What is MomentumSwitch?

MomentumSwitch is an automated Solana momentum trading platform. It scans Solana tokens, filters potential momentum opportunities and manages a multi-position portfolio in Paper or Live USDC mode.

Is MomentumSwitch a Solana trading bot?

Yes. It is a server-side automated trading system focused on Solana momentum. The system combines market scanning, entry qualification, confirmation, portfolio sizing and automated exits.

Does Paper mode use real money?

No. Paper mode starts with a simulated $500 USDC portfolio. It is intended for observing the algorithm without committing real trading capital.

Do Paper and Live USDC use the same algorithm?

That is the product architecture: both modes share the same automatic trading-decision logic and parameter set. Live mode additionally requires real blockchain execution.

Why are there three confirmation scans?

Confirmation checks whether a qualifying signal persists instead of buying immediately from one short-lived observation. It can reduce false spikes, but it can also delay entry, which is why confirmation behavior is evaluated in backtesting.

Does MomentumSwitch use Jupiter?

MomentumSwitch uses Jupiter-based Solana market and swap infrastructure. Jupiter routing is execution infrastructure; MomentumSwitch's algorithm decides whether a trade qualifies.

What are the fees?

Paper trading and MomentumSwitch wallet funding/withdrawal currently have a 0% platform fee. The current interface lists a 0.80% platform fee for an executed real swap. Market slippage and network-related costs are separate.

Is MomentumSwitch non-custodial?

Wallet authentication uses a wallet signature rather than a username/password. Live trading architecture uses dedicated on-chain execution controls. Users should read the current Live interface and security information before funding because product architecture can evolve.

Does MomentumSwitch guarantee profits?

No. Crypto and automated trading can lose money. Filters and portfolio controls reduce particular risks but cannot eliminate them. Backtests do not guarantee future results.
